Hey Yo! Shiraz here. Yes, my name
is pronounced just like the Australian wine.
For years, people butchered my name in
school, but now folks can pronounce it
because of their familiarity with the
beverage. If it was only popular when I was
6 years old!
It's also the name of a major city in
Iran, but I'm not Persian. I'm
Pakistani, and born and raised in Dallas, TX
(go Cowboys). My mom makes a KILLER
curry. I enjoy wake boarding, taking
long road trips, marketing, and being a
self-improvement junky.

how to make money over the
internet for a year now, and I
started out in network marketing
in 2006.
I graduated from the University of Texas in
2004 (hook 'em Horns), and lived in Austin,
TX for over 6 years, which is also the home
of
Mike Dillard.
I worked with Mike Dillard in my
business opportunity, and I've also worked
closely with Justin Christianson and Brady
Paulson of the "Just Add Traffic" course
(awesome tool for creating capture pages and
getting leads). |

By working and learning from these
individuals, I was able to quit my last job
in 2007, and I've never looked back since.

prospects due to other business
projects (I'm just here to provide training).
My success came slowly but surely.
My biggest advice to you as an internet
marketer, Network Marketer or MLM'er would
be to do everything you can to attend
events, seminars, and courses with the
industry big dogs to get in close contact
with them. Their energy and outlook will surely rub off on you.
It will make all the difference.
I don't believe in excuses, and if you
want to learn how to build an enterprise
from the comfort of your own home, then you
shouldn't accept any either. It's not
rocket science, but wealth requires a
different way of thinking.
It also asks that you go down a
different path... one that you've never
taken before since all the other paths have
lead you to the same result every time (you
know what I'm talking about).
So Why
Am I Here?
To help you. Period.
I believe what you give to this world
comes back to you ten-fold. My entire
success as an entrepreneur who works in his
basketball shorts and t-shirt everyday is
built on this very principle.

But the only reason I'm able to help
others is because I've invested in myself. If you want to give value to others so
they'll follow you and PUT MONEY IN YOUR
POCKET, then you have to first educate
yourself. Get the knowledge,
experience, and results that your prospects
or customers don't have, and they'll follow
you to any business opportunity.
Success is a journey, so
education should never end... |
And neither should your pursuit
of your own goals. If you got the guts
to endure and go down the path to success,
then I'll share with you a few principles I
discovered that led me to becoming a
successful online entrepreneur...
Success Comes Slowly...
And that's the way it SHOULD be. So
much for "Get Rich Quick" schemes and diet
pills. They're all bogus, and only
feed people's impatience and thirst for
instant gratification (although they rarely
get it and usually quit).
Success in any endeavor is all about
daily habits. Do the little things
every single day to inch closer to your
goal.
There's a powerful principle that
describes this well, called Kaizen.
Here's a description of it:
"Rooted in the two thousand-year-old

great and lasting change through small,
steady increments.
Kaizen is the tortoise versus the

If you study health and fitness, the
secret to shedding body fat is to lose at
most 1-2 lbs. a week by reducing calories
just slightly below your maintenance level,
followed by a consistent workout.
If you study the mega successful
entrepreneurs (especially online), you'll
find years of failure, trial and
error, and constant improvement in their
habits, perspective, education, and vision
before their millions of dollars were made.

You Become Who You Surround
Yourself With
To get the success I wanted
in network marketing and online business, I
knew I had to surround myself with the
people who had already achieved it.
I could have hung out with
negative people who always complain, look at
life through a scarcity mentality, or simply
can't see anything possible outside the J.O.B. lifestyle (a lot of business owners
think this way too sadly).

Or... I could hang out with
successful, wealthy people who are goal
achievers and who constantly strive to make
themselves and the world better.
I actively searched for the
right
people by going to the places
they go to (seminars, conferences,
and live business events), and
constantly studied their books
and courses. I befriended a lot of
them, and in time, I adapted their way of
thinking and acting. Enter success. |
So ask yourself... who do
you hang out with everyday? What do
they think like, and what do they talk
about? What have they achieved?
You Need Both Sides Of Your
Brain
I've drilled the importance
of education and surrounding yourself by
those who've achieved what you want... but that's not enough
for success.
Education is, for most
people, the starting point. It not
only gives them the right ideas, but expands
their mind full of "aha" moments. It
renders their outlook and perspective to
gain a whole new understanding about their
goals.
But education is just the left
side of the brain going to work. The
right side of the brain works totally
different, and is equally as important.
It wasn't until I began
learning this that I finally understood the
point of rigorously shoving all that knowledge
of seemingly "useless subject matters" into
my brain back in college.

to take Art, Spanish, and a physical
activity class (I chose to play football).
These types of subject
matters provide right-brain
experiences. And by stimulating both sides
of your brain, you develop it fully so that
you can solve any problem in the future.
It's the balance of education (left brain)
and experience (right brain) that will allow
you to achieve anything. |

By taking action, gaining a
variety of experience, and not
focusing on perfection, you develop the creative, right side of
your brain that's necessary to succeed.
The only thing to focus on is improvement
over time.
A DIFFERENT
Solution To Being Stuck
What if you were faced with
a challenge (such as lead generation or
prospecting), and you couldn't figure it out
despite studying, reading, and listening to
every known training product, book, or CD
course you could get your hands on? You just felt stuck and couldn't
move forward.
And if you came to me and
asked for guidance, what if I told you to
learn a musical instrument,
take an improv or art course, or
participate in some sport to help you with it?
Would this make sense?
Eben Pagan is one of the
best online marketers ever (look him up),
and he taught me one thing from the
beginning of my journey: success is
often counter-intuitive. In other
words, what actually works is often times
NOT what you would expect or ever think
of... especially in business!
"Paralysis by analysis" is a
problem of not having enough right brain
experiences or being too top-heavy on
information
(left brain experience), so there's an
imbalance. (Being a perfectionist is
a form of this problem.)
This isn't always obvious to
most people. But by taking my suggestion,
you begin solving your problem of being
"stuck" not with a logical solution, but
with a physiological solution.
There are activities you can
engage in that will develop the right side of
your brain, just like how you develop muscles when you
work out.
I had this problem for the
longest time. I would over-analyze and
second guess everything. I had studied
all the e-books, CD's, DVD's, and courses I
could (left brain experiences) on how to
build a network marketing business online,
but I could never actually do it. I
would always get confused and stuck.
I had stimulated the
analytical, data-crunching left side of my
brain to the max, but didn't nurture the
other side of my brain by actually gaining
real world experience. So no matter what I tried, I
would always hit a roadblock.

That's why I
took up activities such as
public speaking and water
sports. By taking up creative
activities, you stimulate the other side of
your brain and develop a different "sense"
to carry you forward. Your intuition
tells you the direction in which to go
without you having to over analyze it.

I know all this may sound
a little off-the-wall, but it's all
over the psychology books. Plus,
you've been trained to do it since grade
school (think Math and Art classes).
So Why
Not Start Now?
I thought to myself, what's
the one piece of knowledge I can give you
RIGHT NOW that could tremendously help you
as a network marketer? And why not
start putting these principles into practice
for yourself starting today?
The single biggest hurdle
that home business owners face is getting
enough highly qualified leads for their
business without going broke. For 97%
of them, this is much easier said than done.
Unfortunately, a vast
majority of network marketers and MLM'ers
fail miserably because they simply can't
produce enough income with their business to
keep up with the increasing costs of
advertising.
But the problem isn't really
the cost of advertising. It's the lack
of education on how to generate leads
without burning a hole in your wallet.
The top income producers figured out how to do it,
and that's why they're at the top.
Remember, success comes
steadily by building the right habits
everyday, investing in yourself, and
by learning from those who have already
achieved the goal you want to achieve.
Educating yourself (left brain) and then applying
what you learn through your creative power
(right brain) is what will catapult you to
success.
